91st DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF MOTHER PABLA BESCOS

Superior General for 35 years, Mother Pabla was a woman of a great personality. A woman of God in Whom she placed all her trust.
Her heart was deeply warm and approachable. She sensed the needs of her Sisters and those of the people whom she related with, whom she welcomed, encouraged and served.
Her writings show us that she preached little, accompanied much and lived with intensity.
Her Charity and her Humility were exquisite, and her desire was that these virtues may be distinctive signs of the Sisters of Charity of Saint Anne.
She collected and transmitted with fidelity the charism and spirit of the Founders and First Sisters, which she received and saw alive in the Community of Our Lady of Grace Hospital. She grew in them from a deep inner life, through prayer and the living of the Presence of God, and showed what she proclaimed in her daily being and doing: “Because of the noise, may nobody know we exist”.
Let us have today a grateful remembrance of her, and let us ask her to have her way of living in the Presence of God, her fidelity in the following of Christ, her love and sense of belongingness to the Congregation, her joyful witness of fraternity, her “going about doing good” without noise, her being maker of peace and communion, her being generator of hope and her option for the poorest and the neediest.
On 20th of February, Thursday, we invite all of you to thank God for the life of Mother Pabla, in the Eucharistic Celebration that we will have in the General House (Zaragoza - Spain), at 19,30 h.
