85º DEATH ANNIVERSARY OF FR. JOHN BUJ
Once the Congregation has been approved (1898), the years that will continue in the Generalate of Mother Pabla will be, first and foremost, consolidation and, in this sense, the help that Father John Buj will give her will be very important, for his influence in the formation of the Sisters in the thirty-nine years that he was the spiritual Director of the Novitiate, which he marked with an indelible stamp, since for a long time, this was the only novitiate that the Congregation had open.
He had the wisdom to gather the congregational spirit and give theological strength, new expression and depth to our Christocentric spirituality, centered on the dimensions lived from the earliest times: the Eucharist, the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the mystery of the Cross, three signs that express with profound realism the immense love with which God has loved and loves man, and which today and always is called to embody and make present the Sister of Charity of Saint Anne. Not in vain did Father John repeat over and over again that, he joined the Congregation as the seal to the letter.
