CANONICAL VISIT OF SR. CARMEN MORA TO THE PROVINCE OF SAINT ANNE
From January 28 to March 3, Sr. Carmen Mora, Superior General, will carry out the canonical visit to the Province of Saint Anne, which includes the countries of Venezuela, Brazil and Cuba. She will meet 77 Sisters in 17 Communities.
She will be accompanied by Sr. Alicia Gonzalo, General Secretary.
We accompany them with our love and prayer so that the Visit may be a time of fraternal meeting and sharing to encourage the life and mission of our Sisters in these countries, where they live day by day with such wants and difficulties.
The itinerary of the Visit is as follows:
- January 28: Departure from Madrid (Spain) and arrival in Belem (Brazil).
- January 30: Journey to Breves.
- January 31 and February 1: Meeting with the two Communities of Brazil.
- February 2: Perpetual Profession of Sr. Madalena Gama.
- February 3: Journey to Belem.
- February 4: Journey to Havana (Cuba).
- February 5 and 6: Meeting with the two Communities of Cuba.
- February 7: Journey to Caracas (Venezuela).
- February 8 and 9: Meeting with the Communities in Caracas area.
- February 10 to 14: Journey and visit the Tukuko and Machiques Communities.
- February 15 and 16: Meeting with the Communities of the State of Zulia and Valera.
- February 17 and 18: Journey and visit the Community of Valera.
- February 19 to 21: Journey and visit the Communities of Maracaibo.
- February 22 to 26: Journey and visit the Communities of Caracas.
- February 27 and 28: Journey and visit the Community of Cabruta.
- February 29: Journey to Caracas.
- March 1: Meeting with the Provincial Council.
- March 2: Visit to Our Lady of Coromoto in Naiguata.
- March 3: Journey to Madrid (Spain), arriving on March 4.
