TYPHOON ONDOY. PHILIPPINES.
Sept. 26, 2009-Typhoon Ondoy: We acted promptly. Soon we provided meals and snacks for everyone who could not leave the place and that we also didn’t want them to leave.
It was really the miracle of the multiplication of bread. By evening many starting moving out as they were very worried about their children etc. Yet some stayed till the next day. It was all a pity, we were all in tears, we wanted to reach out but we could not and were just helpless. The water was too high and when we looked out from our terrace what we noticed was a sea all around. We saw the houses & trees immersed. People falling from the roof tops and tree tops… Praise be the Lord except for few individuals all peoples were saved. God is God! [Pl. note: The photos were taken after 5days]
