The SAF group of Shrirampur started the 24th of April of 2016: the 25 first members gathered in the Chapel of the Community, invoked God with a song to the Holy Spirit, asked for his protection and guide, and offered themselves to Mary, leaving at her feet lighted candles. They wanted to do as our Founders and First Sisters, at the feet of Our Lady, Virgin and Mother. They read and meditate the Word of God, presented their intentions before the Lord and concluded with a thanksgiving song. Next, they went to the meeting hall and Sr. Reena George talked to them about SAF, of the origin of the Congregation and the Founders. Then, they had a dialogue with her and the Sisters Theresamma Joseph (Superior of the Community and in charge of SAF), Roshini Ekka and Saroj Parmar, in order to clarify their doubts. They agreed to meet once a month and, after refreshment and a prayer, they ended the first encounter.

This group is formed by doctors, nurses, dialysis technicians, accountants, administrative and other workers of the Hospital and of the Nursing School, electricians, professors, engineers, housewives, retired professionals and public officers. Everybody receives formation about the Congregation and its mission, tries to live the charism in his work and daily life, and is committed in activities as: visit to families with difficulties, tutorial classes, catechesis in the Parish, choir of the Hospital and the Parish, etc.

El grupo de FSA de Shrirampur comenzó a funcionar el 24 de abril de 2016: los 25 miembros iniciales se reunieron en la capilla de la Comunidad, invocaron a Dios con un canto al Espíritu Santo, pidieron su protección y guía, y se ofrecieron a María dejando a sus pies velas encendidas, quisieron hacerlo de la misma forma que nuestros Fundadores y Primeras Hermanas, a los pies de la Virgen y Madre. Leyeron y meditaron la palabra de Dios, presentaron sus intenciones ante el Señor y concluyeron con un canto de acción de gracias. A continuación, pasaron a la sala de reuniones y la Hna. Reena George les habló de la FSA, del origen de la Congregación y de los Fundadores, y luego tuvieron un diálogo -con ella y las Hermanas Theresamma Joseph (Superiora de la Comunidad y responsable de la FSA), Roshini Ekka y Saroj Parmar- en que pudieron clarificar sus dudas. Acordaron reunirse una vez al mes y, después de refresco y una oración, finalizaron su primer encuentro.

Forman parte del grupo médicos, enfermeros, técnicos de diálisis, contables, administrativos y otros empleados del Hospital y de la Escuela de Enfermería, electricistas, profesores, ingenieros, amas de casa, profesionales jubilados y funcionarios públicos. Todos reciben formación sobre la congregación y su misión, tratan de vivir el carisma en su trabajo y en su vida cotidiana, y están comprometidos además en actividades tales como: visita a familias con dificultades, apoyo escolar, catequesis parroquial, coro del Hospital y de la Parroquia, etc.
