The hospital, popularly known as “Our Lady of Pillar Hospital” belongs to the Sisters of Charity of St. Anne. In year 1960, at the invitation of the Ecclesiastical Superior of the Gujarat Mission, our pioneer sisters willingly accepted the challenges of responding to the health care of the people in the urban area, running a small dispensary. At present the labor of many people has made great achievements to develop this dispensary into the Hospital which has celebrated on 25th of April 2015 its Golden Jubilee. On 13th of May 2015 it was put the first stone of a new OPD building.

Staff Structures: 16 Sisters, and 100 Lay workers (including Doctors, Nurses, Auxiliary Nurses, Lab & X-Ray Technicians, cleaners, etc.)

Facilities: It is a 62 bedded hospital, with 4 operation theatres and one delivery room, Intensive Care Unit, Incubator room; OPD with all the facilities of Pharmacy, 4 consulting rooms, patients and relatives seating room, Pharmacy, Injection and dressing room, Laboratory, X-Ray Department, Sonography room, Dental Clinic, etc…

Activities:

- Each year the Hospital attends around 15.500 patients in OPD, 800 in the Emergency, 500 Surgeries, 200 births and 2000 admissions.

- It is provided practical formation for 23 students of different health professions.

- The Sisters, with the help of SAF members is fully involved in Health Pastoral Care in the Centre and in other Pastoral & Social activities both inside and outside the Hospital.

HOSPITAL NTRA. SRA. DEL PILAR DE BARODA

El hospital, conocido popularmente como "Nuestra Señora del Pilar del Hospital" pertenece a las Hermanas de la Caridad de Santa Ana. En el año 1960, siguiendo la invitación de los Superiores Eclesiásticos de la Misión de Gujarat, nuestras Hermanas pioneras aceptaron de buen grado el desafío de dar respuesta a la atención de salud en el área urbana a través de un pequeño dispensario. En la actualidad el trabajo de muchas personas ha posibilitado grandes logros. El pequeño dispensario inicial se ha transformado en un Hospital cuyas bodas de oro hemos celebrado el 25 de abril de 2015. El 13 de mayo 2015, además, se colocó la primera piedra de un nuevo edificio de Consultas Externas.

Estructura de personal: 16 Hermanas, y 100 trabajadores seglares (incluyendo médicos, enfermeras, auxiliares de enfermería, Técnicos de laboratorio y de Rayos X, limpiadores, etc.)

Instalaciones: Es un hospital de 62 camas, con 4 quirófanos y una sala de partos, unidad de cuidados intensivos, sala de incubadoras; Consultas Externas con todas las instalaciones necesarias, 4 consultas, sala de espera para pacientes y familiares, Farmacia, Sala de curas e inyectables, Laboratorio, Rayos X, Ecografía, Clínica Dental, etc.

Actividades:

- El Hospital atiende al año alrededor de 15.500 pacientes en Consultas Externas, 800 Urgencias, 500 cirugías, 200 nacimientos y 2.000 ingresos.

- Proporciona formación práctica para 23 estudiantes de diferentes profesiones de salud.

- Las Hermanas, con la ayuda de miembros de la Familia Santa Ana (FSA) están totalmente involucradas en la Pastoral de la Salud del Centro y en otras actividades pastorales y sociales, tanto dentro como fuera del Hospital.
