We started our St. Anne’s Movement (SAM) in 1995 with 50 members with the direction of Sr. Mathilda and Sr. Alice.

The Activities of the St. Anne’s Movement were:

- Participating in the Youth convention at Dakor Don Bossco High School.

Mrs. Margaret Alva the minister of Center Government was a chief guest we prepared food for them and for youth also.

- Many activities to collect Fund (Musical Night in Ipcowala Hall, Nadiad; Lucky Draw; Tour for Valangini for the people)

- Preparing children for First Communion and Confirmation

- Choir group

- Summer Camp – Vocation and carrier guidance for youth

- Garba at Christmas

- Goa, Mumbai and Udaipur picnic for SAM members

- Attending the marriage of SAM members

- Seminar for members

In August 2013 The St. Anne’s Movement name are change to St. Anne’s Family (SAF)

We had our first meeting with the some of the community sister and SAF members. Earlier we were in St. Anne’s Movement so we were aware of the mission of the Congregation. We are six lay members and 3 sisters in our SAF Group. We have President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer.

We meet once in a month and when it is necessary. We start our meeting with opening prayer after prayer we read the meetings of the previous meeting. We evaluate the present activities and we plan for the next activities.

SAF Nadiad Activities are:

- Prison ministry- Rakshabandahan

- 26th January Republic day Celebration

- We celebrate – Sardar patel and Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti

- Visit to the Old Aged House

- Visit to the Hospital and Pray for the patients and poor families.

- Visit to the differently abled Children mentally challenged children at Madhurya Bhuvan, Ahemdabad.

- Congregations feast celebration with special prayer

- Christmas celebration distribution to the poor people grain, oil, sugar, clothes , etc..

- Participating in the all activities of Parish like live way of the Cross, Holy week Masses,

- Participate in the rallies to raise voice of the voiceless.

- Participate in cross rally held in Nadiad

- Visit to the Child Observation Home

- Visit to the NGO

- Helping in the organization of different Feasts and Anniversaries of the Congregation such as Golden Jubilee Celebration of Our Lady of Pillar Hospital (Vadodara) on April 2015 (Mr. Ashvin Jadav gave his service to prepare presentation)

- Helping in other celebrations of the Church (for example, in the celebration of Silver Jubilee of Christ the King Church, Nadiad, Mr. Praful Macwan took part in the choir group as a congo player and Mr. Dinesh Dabhi gave his help as a sacristan.)
